Art deco poppies
Gold, diamonds, hot enamel
Art Deco is an unusual style that combines ornamental luxury and thoughtful structure, oriental exoticism and European neoclassicism. It is especially magnificent in the jewelry art of the 1920s and 1930s. The rhythms of its broken lines and contrasting color combinations are still fascinating. I always wanted to create something similar, but recognizably my own. The work is in a private collection. Reproduction is possible with the author's changes.

The story of a family who waited many years for the birth of their first child.
This brooch became their heirloom — a cherished symbol of hope and love. What you see here is the artist’s personal recreation; the original remains with the family.
What did the artist hope to convey through this work? A human heart, delicately formed by two birds, nestled closely in a quiet embrace. They coo softly, almost imperceptibly, about the coming of new life — a message not heard, but perhaps read in the finest feathers of the doves.
On the reverse side lies a different story — one of endurance and struggle. Rose branches with thorns fill the inner space like arteries, pulsing with the lifeblood of existence, reminding us that every precious moment is born through both tenderness and trial.
